BrownDog Electronic Component Adaptors
Semiconductor manufacturers are continually introducing new components offered only in surface mount packages; these components are typically very small and difficult to incorporate into prototype circuits. Moreover, manufacturers are making DIP devices obsolete at an ever increasing rate, making continued support and maintenance of legacy systems a difficult proposition.
The pcbs can also be used to adapt other output devices such has HA packages and Burson to fit your pcb. E.G convert HA to SMT or Burson to SMT.
