This is a very nicely constructed and designed player indeed. Full copper plating on the chassis, large, high-quality toroidal transformer with a well-damped transport are the mechanical improvements made over the standard version. We have upgraded many of the capacitors to Rubycon ZA, Elna Silmic, with Sanyo Oscon SEPC. All parts have been chosen specifically for each application.

Sanyo Oscon SEPC on digital rails.

Rubycon ZA on analog rails for massively improved detail and separation.

Elna Silmic for post-regulator smoothing capacitors to ensure that smooth analog sound with fantastic tonal detail.

Panasonic FC and Nichicon Low-ESR smoothing capacitors.

Output signal coupling capacitors are upgraded to large uF Plastic film types for a very neutral and dynamic sound.

We have also added a fabulous Low-Jitter C1 clock to really improve the playback quality. All in all, this SACD player is cracking value for money.
